Shew, I’ve really had to check my heart today.
I woke up frustrated not only because I’m not feeling well but my husband is hunting and my daughter is on the mend from strep again.
Mommin’ with four littles is hard some days, y’all!
I would love to do all the crafts I had planned… wrapping, cleaning, shopping or whatever.
I found I have to truly ask the Lord to take over for me on days like today.
“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you
meet trials of various kinds,”
James 1:2
Because this produces joy. This brings peace. Choosing to accept the things I cannot change helps me live free.
I talk about tools a lot with mine and my family’s health. As I’m incredibly thankful for these vitamins and supplements I post about often 😉,
I don’t EVER want to go without giving GOD ALL the glory for giving us tools to defeat toxic thoughts.
Through the power of prayer and His Word we CAN live with joy!
“Finally, be strong in the Lord
and in the strength of His
might. Put on the full
armor of God, so that you
will be
able to stand firm against
the schemes of the devil.
For our struggle is not
against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against
the powers,
against the world forces
of this darkness, against
the spiritual
forces of wickedness in
the heavenly places.
Therefore, take up the full
armor of God, so that you
will be able to resist in the
evil day, and having done
everything, to
stand firm.”
Ephesians 6:10-13
As I renew my mind while I’m rocking her.. after she cried most of the morning.
I’m reminded that our lives are like a vapor. Here today and gone the next.
I’m raising little disciples.
My reactions show if I love Jesus! I believe in grace and I believe it’s important to become spiritually disciplined!
Oh I pray our children seek Jesus!

“Yet you do not know what your life
will be like tomorrow. You are
just a vapor that appears for a little
while and then vanishes away.”
James 4:14
“And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove
what the will of God is, that
which is good and acceptable
and perfect.”
Romans 12:2
Oh Lord teach me to number my days. Teach me to love with patience, joy and grace EVEN when I don’t feel well. Even when my kids aren’t feeling well. Even when things don’t go like I want them to.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
self-control; against such
things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23
“So teach us to number our days,
That we may present to You a
heart of wisdom.”
Psalms 90:12
Help me embrace the messiness of this call you have for my life called Motherhood because I want you to receive all the glory. Not me.
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is
gain.”
Philippians 1:21
What “mess” are you embracing today?
